BOTHELL, Wash., Dec. 8, 2009 -- Neah Power Systems, Inc., (OTCBB:NPWZ - News), www.neahpower.com, the Company developing fuel cells-based renewable energy solutions, has demonstrated Neah's novel methanol fuel cell as a battery charger of a majority of current battery-based systems, including traditional 12V Valve Regulate Lead Acid battery, Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydride, Lithium Ion, Nickel Zinc and other rechargeable battery platforms, which may be used for consumer, industrial, and military markets, electric scooters, golf carts, etc.
While Neah's fuel cell can power external devices directly, this new capability enables the fuel cell integration in most existing low power platforms (battery-based systems).
